Healthy Oats!

Eating healthy is so important for our bodys, physically and mentally. While this is true, it can be difficult to eat healthy on a budget. That is why I love making oatmeal for breakfast! It is not only a super budget-friendly item, but a delicious and nutritious meal to get me through the morning and continue the day strong. I love this for breakfast because there are so many varieties - you can add milk, spices, nuts and more! Every time you eat is an opportunity to nourish your body. Healthy Oatmeal Breakfast:


  • Quick oats

  • Water

Optional ingredients:

  • Your choice of milk

  • Cinnamon

  • Nutmeg

  • Walnuts

  • Fruit

  • Toast


  1. Combine 1 cup of oats with 1/2 cup of water. Microwave for 2 minutes.

  2. Stir. Add optional ingredients to your liking

  3. Add (buttered) toast to enjoy an extra element in your morning oats!

  4. Enjoy!
